01 / Introduction

Bio

I am a musician, sound artist and performer based in Le Mans, France. My work moves between music, sound, image and live performance, bringing together drums, acoustic instruments, electronics, voice and ambient work.

Active internationally since the 1980s, I have performed in a wide range of contexts and developed a practice spanning solo performance, bands, collaborations with theatre and contemporary dance companies, cine-concerts, sound creation, English-language readings and collaborative projects. My current work explores listening, emotion, cinema and poetic spaces off the beaten track through immersive and cross-disciplinary forms.

01 / PERFORMANCE

These Things We Feel

Literature · voice · live sound

English-language readings from classic Anglophone authors — texts and poems — combined with live ambient soundscapes, interspersed with haunting songs. Made for intimate and atypical venues, the project explores emotion, language and imagination.

Initially designed for libraries, small spaces, cafés, public gardens, forests, dawns and midnights, it uses a fully self-contained sound system, with no electrical connection required.

IN DEVELOPMENT · SEEKING RESIDENCIES

These Things We Feel is currently in development. I am looking for venues and organisations that can host a creative residency to further develop the project’s performance and sonic form.

Workshops with schools, secondary schools, universities and specialist institutions: music, sound creation, music production, improvisation, writing and music for film.

Also available: English conversation, diction and writing support.
